“Three years ago in July I developed a horrific backache which was located in my thoracic region. I went to my doctor and she put me on gabapentin and a muscle relaxer and this did not help. My primary care sent me to one of her colleagues in her clinic. I was developing hypertension from my pain issues. They prescribed fentanyl to me in which I had an anaphylactic reaction. I was sent to the hospital by ambulance. A week later I was readmitted due to my pain as well as nausea and vomiting. I received a letter from these doctors stating I could not return to the clinic but never told me why. I was referred to IPPMC. I am now 100% pain free. I am no longer on pain medications. I just want to say that everybody is swell around IPPMC.”
