I had a total of three surgeries in six months for my neck and my left upper extremity. I didn't receive significant benefit from these surgeries. I developed chronic pain in my neck from posterior fusions. I was at the point that I didn't even want to live when I presented to IPPMC. I was on a lot of medications without results. I was elevating medication dosing and it wasn't helping. After getting a combination of treatments I have 90% improvement in my pain. I went through a lot of personal stress during this period. I have 90% improvement in my pain level since coming here. I have 50% improvement in my cervical range of motion. I'm to a point where if this is the best it gets I'm okay.

I never thought I'd have a day where I'd wake up and not experience pain. It got to the point of being very depressing that at age 34 I couldn't do some of the basic things that I could do before my pain began. I've been through two back surgeries in different places, saw different doctors with no results. Pain medication was all they would basically try to do to help me. Since I started this program at the Interventional Pain Clinic I've steadily gotten better. My depression has lifted. I'm doing things a guy my age should be able to do and I'm looking forward to the future of not living in pain thanks to the program, and whatever you guys do works.

I was in severe pain from shingles. I had no idea how to treat it. My primary care doctor sent me to IPPMC. I couldn't function at all due to my pain. I didn't know what to do. My mind was really messed up because I didn't know what to do. From my first evaluation forward it has been really great. I have 100% relief of my pain. It was the right thing to do.

After ten years of having back pain and seeing doctors, seeing specialists, being prescribed pills, this is the first time that I've had a reduction in the pain and been able to function better.  I've had better than 80% improvement of my pain level.  I'd highly recommend to doctors and patients to follow up at IPPMC.

Hi! Before I came in here I could hardly walk down the stairs due to my Achilles tendons for at least two years. I have no pain whatsoever in my feet. My back feels just about 100% better. I golfed for the first time in three years. I got all the weeding and gardening done. I worked all day and I didn't hurt anyplace. I'll come back and get the treatments as many times as needed as long as I have to because it's the only thing that has worked in many years. I've been going to the chiropractor for 15 years and it helped me only for a short time.

I came here with severe pain in my lower back and my legs. Previous to coming I tried so many other things and nothing helped. Between the different programs at IPPMC I received benefit. I eventually received a spinal cord stimulator for my back and leg pain and it improved me to 90%.

You guys have a great team here. Many times when you have a lot of pain, when it's not visible on the outside people won't believe you. Dr. Kowalkowski listened to me and by the end of the appointment made me think that he could help me and no one else has in three years. The staff here is amazing. I think there should be more locations.

My treatments have been very good since starting treatment here. Before my treatments I had difficulty standing in the kitchen and doing my housework. Now it is very much better which allows for an improved quality of life. I want to thank the staff and physician for their good work.

When I started treatments, I had severe pain with bending forward and backward. My activity level was minimal because of the pain. It is amazing now what I can do with my range of motion in my neck and back. I am very happy with the care I have received at IPPMC.
