"I have been in 23 major motorcycle accidents. I have had four major spine surgeries with hardware and screws placed. Eventually all of my hardware was removed. I have had pain since I was 18 years old. I was to the point that I could barely walk, yet alone work. But I had to work. Despite the pain. I have been treated at the University of Massachusetts, Merrimack, New Hampshire Pain Clinic, MAPS Pain Clinic and different family practitioners. I am now currently being treated at Interventional Pain and Physical Medicine Clinic. Of all the places I have been, seeking pain management, this is the only place that has given me any relief. I have received 60% improvement in my pain to date. This has allowed me to improve my ability to walk and work. I currently work three jobs. My wife states that I am walking much better!"

"I presented to IPPMC after undergoing extensive workups for right-side pain, in which I developed after a breast reconstruction in 2007. I underwent 28 sessions of radiation therapy. After the surgery I developed intense pain that affected my life on every level. My life consisted of basically coming home from work and going to bed because of the pain. I was referred to IPPMC by my primary care provider and I can now say that after receiving cryotherapy that my pain is 100% improved. I am back to my normal activity level. I feel like human being again!"

"I've had pain off and on for two-years in my middle of my back and between my shoulder blades. I work construction work and I would have pain all the time with my work. A doctor sent me to IPPMC. I came in after one visit; I received treatment with a shot and physical therapy, and an evaluation by Dr. Kowalkowski. I haven't had any pain anymore after my initial visit. Life is much better. "

"While lifting children, I developed severe back pain and numbness down my right leg, as well as, falling because of my leg numbness. I eventually underwent a right-sided decompression at L4-5, L5-S1 for my pain in which I had some benefit but developed sciatic pain. My doctor told me to be patient with my pain and it didn't get better until my physical therapist referred me to IPPMC in which after three visits I have 80% improvement of my symptoms. I am now able to drive on my own in which I couldn't do over the last eight months. I am very thankful I was referred and for the help I've gotten for my back pain."

"When I first came in to IPPMC I was taking a relatively high amount of opioids for my back pain. I had back pain for five years and escalated my medication dose over the last two years. I could not do my gardening, housework or it would take me a lot longer to make supper and do my regular chores. I received a combination of lumbar radiofrequency and physical therapy and my life has improved greatly. I can now do my chores without having to sit down in between. The staff is very friendly and I really like coming here. "

"I had neck fusion as well as a laminectomy in the lumbar spine for terrible back pain. My surgery helped my neck pain but I gradually re-developed increased neck pain. I was in pain all the time. "I presented to IPPMC after developing significant left chest wall pain that occurred after undergoing a mastectomy and lymph node biopsy. I ultimately refused chemotherapy and received radiation therapy in 2007. The pain affected my ability to sleep. I was unable to wear a bra. I also could not lift my arm because of the restriction and the severe pain. I was referred to IPPMC by my surgeon. My treatment regiment included cryotherapy, physical therapy, as well as other trigger point injections. I can say now my pain is 90% improved. Currently I am able to play golf, my doing my house work, and my sleeping has improved. My treatment and IPPMC staff is wonderful. They are very courteous and helpful."
